PNG Sigri Estate B is sourced from the renowned Sigri Estate in the fertile Wahgi Valley of Papua New Guinea’s Western Highlands, near Mt Hagen. Grown on rich volcanic soils under a high-rainfall montane climate, this estate coffee benefits from exceptional natural conditions and decades of refined cultivation expertise.

Operated by WR Carpenter Estates, Sigri employs a medium-density shade system using two types of trees, promoting biodiversity, soil health, and water conservation. The estate has been a long-standing community partner since the 1950s, supporting local schools, water projects, and healthcare facilities while maintaining a strong focus on sustainable, high-quality production.

Varieties trace their lineage to Jamaica Blue Mountain stock and include Typica, Arusha, Bourbon, and Maragogype. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, pulped the same day, and processed using a traditional washed method with extended fermentation and water immersion, followed by careful sun-drying, hulling, grading, and hand-sorting.
